YLCE AGM - 2018 - PAST EVENT
The Annual General Meeting of the YLCE was followed by a lunch with talks by previous Award Recipients.
After the business meeting we enjoyed the usual delicious lunch prepared by our Social Committee.
After lunch we heard from two of our deserving Award recipients. Ms Claire Kearns is studying 'Sound Arts' at the London College of Communication. She has worked in Community Radio, given Sound Art workshops and even contributed to the British Science Festival in Bradford in 2015. Find out more in our latest Newsletter.
Our second speaker was Ms India Roche. After graduating in English and Comparative Literature, India worked with the charity 'Mind' in Hackney and Waltham Forest and is now following an intriguingly titled Masters course: 'Service Design' at the Royal College of Art.
