Celebratory Jubilee Tea
On the afternoon of 14 June, at North Leeds Cricket Club, our Social Committee held a special event to celebrate the royal jubilee. Bubbly was included to make this Afternoon Tea truly 'royal'. There were home-made scones, cakes and biscuits, and even the Queen's Platignum Jubilee Pudding, Janet Jurica, Chair of the Committee decided that the winner of the 'Pudding' competition was indeed worthy; the lemon swiss roll and amaretti trifle she expertly produced for us was considered a delicious success.
