Goodies for Christmas
There will, of course, be no Christmas Fayre & Sandwich Lunch at St Chad's Parish Centre this year. Social Committee members like baking; they are also proud of the money they raise for their chosen charity each year. This year's charity was to be Leeds Baby Bank. They have done some thinking; they have come up with a mouthwatering solution.: they will provide for us, to order, some of the goodies we have bought from them at our traditional Christmas Fayre and the proceeds will go to Leeds Baby Bank. They are offering uniced cakes, small iced cakes, mince pies, mincemeat, lime marmalade, Seville & apricot marmalade and Christmas chutney. Members have been sent full details and an order form. Orders should be in before 30 November. There is also the opportunity to make a donation to the charity via the Social Committee's account.
